Incense Prayers & Mantras
Welcome to your sacred space. These prayers and mantras are to assist with opening and connecting to the divine within and without.
Optional Prayer to assist with deepening your connection to self and the plants
Call upon your spirit and the sacred plant allies for deep healing, love and protection. From the heart, invite love and openness into this moment. Be here now, feeling the strength of your higher self and the divine creator within you. Opening up to the blessings already within, may you have the clarity to see them all clearly. Your life is a blessing and a miracle in itself. Let the incense and plants guide you closer to all that is meant for you, as you awaken within your sacred heart space, to the gift and divinity that is YOU!
Optional affirmations to help you in remembering all that you truly are
"I am the light, I am the spirit, I am innocent and connected to the innocence of the earth, I am my own teacher and may any mistakes and entanglements from the past known and unknown disappear into thin air and may I be freed of all karma, my own, others and that of my family and ancestors. May I be free to live in peace, harmony, acceptance, balance and total freedom from all illusions and may all the all obstacles in the path of me becoming the pure spirit and becoming the greatest and highest version of myself be removed".
- Light your incense in a safe, peaceful space and allow the flame to remain lit for at least 3-5 seconds before blowing out
- Take three deep breaths to centre yourself
- Speak or read the prayer aloud or silently
- Sit quietly and allow the smoke to carry your intentions
- Give gratitude when you're complete
May your practice bring you peace, clarity, and divine connection.
Optional mantras to assist with chakra balancing and clearance
Below are some short mantras for each chakra to assist with the cleansing and purification of them. These short mantras are known as bija mantras.
"Bija means seed - the Vaikhari - 'utterance'. Vaikhari is the power of speaking. This power of speaking is made into mantras by the people who have the power of Self Realisation. So for them to improve this centre, or they want to improve left or right (parasympathetic nervous system) we can use the power of 'Beej' Mantra.
So the first step is to say the bija mantra and then to say the different mantras of the different chakras. So first is the bija and then is the tree. So you can implant a bija into yourself by saying that". ~ Shri Mataji, Founder of Sahaja Yoga.
